And I said to my body. Softly. ‘I want to be your friend.’ It took a long breath. and replied ‘I have been waiting my whole life for this.

Yoga is for every BODY.

Yoga is a welcoming practice for all humans no matter the shapes or sizes.

It’s not a flexibility or strength competition.

It’s a practice where YOU can mindfully OBSERVE what arises within yourself with NO JUDGEMENT.

Whether the poses are effortful or easeful, there are variations to each that will suit you.

The common purpose of meditation is to calm the mind and revel in the interconnectedness of life and the present moment.

Meditation:

✓ presents itself in many forms (ex., hiking, sitting, walking, laying down) that may speak to you in this part of your life.

✓ may include guidance by another person, natural sounds, silence, music, or scanning physical points and senses.

✓ brings joy in practicing by yourself and with others.

✓ fits into modern living and different lifestyles.

✓ can be practiced, explored and shaped by you, if you’re religious or not.

Practicing is like stoking a campfire, you must feed it to feel the warmth and see the light.

Maintaining practices allow you to weave the beneficial experiences within yoga and meditation into your modern life.

Over time, you become your own observer. You become your own teacher. You become the shaper of your life.
